At 360 Osteopathy, we believe in crafting a comforting experience that allows you to access your body’s healing potential.
Most of our patients feel they have plateaued with healing, despite pursuing more mainstream treatments and care. I have two distinct specialties with the corresponding Board Certifications; Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.
The appointment starts with you taking your time to explain how your pain and discomfort is disrupting your life and pursuit of activities you enjoy. Because we need to maintain a level of function in our daily lives, our bodies develop compensatory movement patterns to function after we are injured. The initial treatment and each treatment afterwards will be specific to you to help your body unravel the complexities of the injury and the compensatory movement patterns that have developed to help you maintain function in your daily life.
Osteopathic treatments focus on all tissues of the body. All tissues can be injured and can be supported by the work of an osteopath. I have treated joints, muscles, blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue to help patients heal. This is important because each part of the body has an effect that can be far reaching throughout the body.
As the injury is addressed and the body moves toward a more normal dynamic equilibrium, start to encourage return to more normal function. Counseling patients on their posture, physical therapy, personal training and regular exercise are then encouraged to strengthen the body, maintain health and function for the pursuit of hobbies.
We guide you on healing your injuries, strengthening weak areas, easing your aches, improving your posture and boosting your vitality. We’re here to guide you every step of the way. Join our community and let’s transform your health, together!
In addition to rehabilitation after injury and chronic conditions, we help infants struggling with breastfeeding and latching issues. And recently we have added acoustic treatments to help patients with pain from severe arthritis, tendon issues and muscle strain.
Many of my patients are looking for an alternative to the typical care offered in more mainstream establishments.
Our treatments are more specific than most physical therapy, chiropractic and massage therapy treatments. My treatments are typically very effective and help people avoid medication use.
That is why the specialty is also called neuromusculoskeletal medicine. I typically am able to help patients who feel they have plateaued with healing despite other treatments and care.
I do a thorough exam and can often find tight tissue and dysfunctional movement patterns by watching patients move and with palpation.
Very few physicians have the skills and knowledge to locate and treat the dysfunctions in the body. Like we can at 360 Osteopathy.
